Frequently Asked Questions
What do I do if I get locked out?
Avoid Lock-Outs!
-
In almost all the rooms in college, the room door locks automatically every time it closes. This means that if you leave your room without your key, you will be locked out.
How to avoid getting locked out:
-
As soon as you enter your room, hang your key lanyard on the inside door handle. This will remind you to take your key before you leave.
-
Always take your key with you whenever you leave your room—even if you're only going to the bathroom, the kitchen, or a friend's room.
If you get locked out:
-
Go to the Porter's Lodge at Corpus Christi College and ask to borrow a spare key. Once you have been able to get back into your room, please return the spare key to the Porter's Lodge as soon as possible. You can also contact a member of the ResLife Team if you need more assistance.
Can I drink the tap water?
